Fun Dog Day

Fun for all the family

We're sorry to announce that the event has been cancelled.

Our thanks to all of you who supported our event last year.

About the day

Midlands Fun Dog Day is an opportunity for you to celebrate man’s best friend whilst having a great deal of FUN and helping charitable causes in the process! The event will take place in the stunning Capability Brown Parkland of Chillington Hall, on Sunday 12th June 2016 by kind permission of Mr and Mrs John Giffard.

We have a packed programme of displays and demonstrations, which will show you how amazing and intelligent our dogs are. In addition there are 20 FUN competitions for you or your children to enter your dog into and these will take place in the Brindley and Schwalbe rings. You will be able to have-a-go at Agility in the Rainbow enclosure, Flyball in the Lichfield enclosure, Gun dog Scurry in the CML enclosure and Steeplechase in the Pet Stop enclosure! There are prizes and rosettes for the Best in Show, with rosettes and certificates to be awarded for winners of Class Competitions all decided by our experienced team of judges.

There will be bar, coffee, tea & cake facilities, a food village, a shopping “street”, mini motor show, musical entertainment from the RAF Cosford Band and Trad Jazz plus a kiddies play zone all of which makes for a great day out. There are baby changing facilities on site.

We are hoping to attract more than 2000 visitors to this our inaugural event and have plans to make this an even bigger annual event right here in the heart of the Midlands! Please join us and help make Midlands Fun Dog Day a huge success for our charities.

Please note that there will be no access to Chillington Hall on the day. There are no ATM machines or credit/debit card facilities on-site.

On the day cheques made payable to Brewood & District Rotary Club will be acceptable for entrance tickets to the show and most doggy competitions.
